Home!

Back to our beds tonight. Not that I minded snuggling with Mimster on the hospital bed but getting uninterrupted sleep tonight is much needed.

Oh and we did make the Italian Wedding Soup. Sooooo Good! I am going to post the recipe for the soup because it was so YUM! We also made brownies with walnuts but those just came out of a Ghiredelli box.

Magi is doing MUCH better she just needed her mama and some antibiotics.

  3. Hi, it's Karen Shannon again. I am not sure if your doctor gave you any suggestions on ways to prevent the mouth sores. I bought a supplement called L-Glutamine Powder. I would give it to Nick 3-4 days before treatment and it really worked. He never/rarely had the sores. I learned this through a couple of parents at Hasbro Hospital. Glad to hear you are all home. Take Care

  4. Hi Karen,
I will mention that to our onc. tomorrow. They treated them with a wash for trush(not the magic mouthwash)she would put it on with a sponge and it worked wonders because they are pretty much gone.
    Thank you!
